Join us on Friday 30th August for a late-summer barbecue with plenty of wine, taking place in the market garden of Anello restaurant in Slaithwaite. 
 
Hopefully on a warm, balmy summer evening outdoors, but as an alternative, under the atmospheric cover of the garden polytunnel. Either way we're promising excellent, barbecue-focused vegetarian food and delicious, interesting pairings, in a unique setting, with twinkling lights and soft music. 
 
This is a smaller event, tickets are limited. Please do note that the menu is vegetarian.

Spiced fougasse, cultured butter, summer flowers
Summer salad of fennel-infused buffalo mozzarella, blackberries, confit shallots, toasted almonds
Barbecued daikon, green beans, whey cream, olive oil
Barbecued mushrooms, confit artichokes, brown butter & cauliflower sauce, hazelnuts 
Roasted plums, custard, fig leaf oil
 
Notes:
- There is a short walk across a field to where the event will be held, so please do wear appropriate footwear!
- The nearest train stations are Slaithwaite or Marsden, from which the kitchen garden is about a lovely 25 minute walk along the canal. Return journey taxis are possible. Once booked, we can help you plan your journey to and from us. Nearest parking is at Zapato tap room, but of course we do encourage you to leave your cars behind!
